Wilridge Vineyard : Planted in 2007, Wilridge Vineyard is the largest vineyard in the Naches Heights American Viticultural Area (AVA) near Yakima, Washington. The vineyard is the oldest certified organic and Biodynamic vineyard in Washington State. The eighty acre property has twelve acres of noble European Vinifera wine grapes and four acres of apples and pears. The vineyard features all five Red Bordeaux varietals -- Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petite Verdot -- which are blended together into the award winning Wilridge Estate Melange Noir. The Bordeaux white va, Syrah, Viognier, Roussanne, Muscat Blanc, The property also features pears and apples that are distilled into brandy. The vineyard is certified organic and Biodynamic and for many years was the only certified Biodynamic vineyard in Washington State.
