Wilridge Estate Vineyard

At Wilridge Vineyard, a simple wine tasting experience transforms into an afternoon full of adventure: picnic, hike, bike, rock climb, or enjoy the wildlife.

Planted in 2007, Wilridge Vineyard is a rare Organic and Demeter certified Biodynamic vineyard -- the "greenest winery in Washington."  Twenty-three varieties of grapes are planted in the unique loess soil composed mostly of windblown volcanic ash over volcanic rock brought by ancient eruptions from local volcanoes. In the shadow of the Cascade Range the vineyard sits at about 1500 ft elevation -- providing long sunny days and cool nights to help the grapes develop lovely fruit.

Experience the Vineyard

With over 80 acres of vineyards, orchards and sageland bluffs to explore, a seemingly simple wine tasting experience transforms into an afternoon full of adventure. Your visit can include wine and spirits tasting, picnicing, hiking, biking, rock climbing, wildlife viewing and relaxing on the lawn.

Wine and Spirits Tasting

Wilridge has three tasting rooms and our wines are also available at farmers markets throughout Washington State. Following is information and directions for each:

Our tasting room on Naches Heights near Yakima is located at Wilridge Vineyard next to the Cowiche Canyon Nature Preserve at 250 Ehler Road. It features all the wines, brandies and other spirits made by Wilridge Winery & Distillery plus craft beers, ciders, soft drinks, and light bites. Please bring sturdy shoes so you can explore the vineyard and canyon or take a walk to tour our nearby winery and distillery. During the summer season from Memorial Day to Labor Day we are open seven days a week from eleven am to six pm. During the rest of the year we are open on weekends and for special events. Please check our wilridge winery website or Facebook page for winter hours, special events, live music, and food truck schedules. We are also always open by appointment. To make an appointment please call back and press two.  From Interstate 82 in Yakima take Highway 12 west to Naches Heights Road and follow the signs to Ehler Road.

Our wines, brandies and other spirits are available in Seattle all year round seven days a week from 9am to 5pm at our farmers market stall in Pike Place Market next to City Fish in the main arcade. Please stop by whenever you tour the historic market. Wilridge wines are also available at other seasonal farmers markets throughout the state. For more information on our famers markets, please call back and press seven to reach our sales director Glen Syvertsen.

All Wilridge wines are also available year round seven days a week from 12 pm until 8 pm at The Tasting Room Seattle in Pike Place Market at 1924 Post Alley between Stewart and Virginia Streets in the Alley behind the original Starbucks and next to Kells Irish pub. There is ample parking in several market garages and we will carry your wine to your car or hotel. The Tasting Room is a cooperative founded by Wilridge that also features eight other Washington State wineries plus craft beers, ciders, coffee, soft drinks and light bites. It's a great place to take a break from shopping and introduce out-of-town guests to Washington wine.

Finally, we share a tasting room in Woodinville Washington with Sky River Meadery where you can taste and purchase the full line of Wilridge wines plus Sky River's delightful honey meads. The tasting room is located at 14270 Woodinville-Redmond Road south of the Historic Hollywood School and can be reached at 425-242-3815. There is ample parking at the top of the long driveway and beautiful views of the valley and the dozens of other wineries in the area.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
