In Naches Heights at Wilridge Vineyard

The Tasting Room Yakima, Washington's first "recreational" vineyard boasts 80 acres of vineyards, orchards and sageland bluffs. Plan a visit and add a picnic, hiking, biking, rock climbing, or simply relaxing to your tasting experience.

In 2007, shortly after planting Wilridge Vineyard, Wilridge opened its Naches Heights tasting room in a one hundred year old farmhouse next to the estate vineyard. The Wilridge Vineyard Tasting Room carries the entire line of over twenty Wilridge wines, wines made by Naches Heights neighbor NHV Winery, and sparkling wines from nearby Treveri Cellars.
Washington State’s Recreational Vineyard

Overlooking the adjacent Cowiche Canyon Nature Preserve, Wilridge Vineyard has become a mecca for local and visiting wine lovers alike. Patrons may enjoy a glass of wine and stroll through the vineyards or picnic on the grounds. The bird watching is excellent – every raptor native to Washington State has visited the vineyard. The more adventurous can hike, mountain bike, or rides horses down to the bottom of Cowiche Canyon. The vineyard trail connects with the William O. Douglas trail which goes from Yakima through Cowiche Canyon to Mount Rainier and the Pacific Crest Trail. Yes, you could hike or ride from Wilridge Vineyard to Mexico or Canada!

On the south side of the canyon, one of Washington State’s largest networks of single track mountain bike trails is maintained by the Cowiche Canyon Conservancy. And did we mention how great the road riding is on Naches Heights? Motor cyclists and bicyclists love the roads winding through the orchards and vineyards on scenic Naches Heights Road. The even more adventurous can try their skills on the Wilridge Vineyard Climbing Cliffs. The 40 foot cliffs, made from hard Tieton Andesite rock, feature hundreds of routes that will challenge every climber, from beginner to expert. All these outdoor opportunities make Wilridge Vineyard the first truly “recreational vineyard” in Washington State! And did we mention that Wilridge Vineyard averages 310 days of sunshine per year? If you want to get outside and are tired of the rain on the west side, come see us.

The Tasting Room Yakima at Wilridge Vineyard is available for weddings, receptions, professional and private functions.
