Wilridge Winery Seattle

Seattle's Original Urban Winery est. 1988

Wilridge Winery Proudly Celebrating 30 Years of Making Award-Winning Washington Wines.

Founded in 1988, Wilridge Winery is the oldest winery operating in Seattle. In its earliest incarnation, Wilridge Winery purchased grapes from vineyards in Eastern Washington to make their wines. As recognition and awards began to come in, vintner, Paul Beveridge was inspired to take on the challenge of owning and operating his own vineyard. In 2007 Wilridge planted its certified Organic and Biodynamic Estate Vineyard on Naches Heights in Yakima Washington.

Seattle's Original Urban Winery
1416 34th Ave Seattle, WA 98122 (April - December)

As with any great vineyard the grapes need to mature and develop into something special. That first year 27 varietals were planted to learn what grapes would adopt to the unique soils, climate and slopes of Naches Heights. Now in his 30th season of wine making, what started as a simple house wine -- for the family's bistro-style resturant -- has grown into a nationally recognized brand. Wine tourist from all over the world find their way to The Tasting Room at Wilridge Vineyard to sample and purchase the hand-crafted wines of Wilridge Vintner, Paul Beveridge.

Although a majority of growing, crushing and bottling take place at Wilridge Vineyard in Yakima, the original winery in Seattle continues to cellar Wilridge's MAISON House Wine and hosts bi-annual wine club pick up parties. Wilridge's Wine Cellar is open for tastings and wine purcahses every Friday 4:00-8:00 PM at the original 1416 34th Ave. location, below Bottlehouse.

The Seattle Winery in Madrona is Western WA's HQ and warehouses Wilridge products for retailers, bar and pub accounts, our Pike Place Market farm table and for more than a dozen Puget Sound neighborhood farmers markets.
