Wilridge winemaker Paul Beveridge crafts Pinot Grigio in the classic Northern Italian style to emphasize the fresh citrus aromas and flavors of the grape. Paul studied white wine production in the Friuli region of Italy before making his first Pinot Grigio in 2008. He uses low oxygen winemaking techniques practiced by the Italians to preserve the fresh fruit aromas of the wine.
Pinot Grigio is a food friendly wine that pairs with lighter dishes such as oysters and other seafood, but also has the acidity to stand up to heartier fare such as roast chicken or duck. Try some on your next picnic with a hunk of bread and some Italian cheese.
