Tasting Notes

Syrah and Mourvedrea are two of Wilridge Winemaker Paul Beveridge's favorite red wines, and they go great together.  The 2012 is 78% Syrah and 22% Mourvedre from Wilridge Vineyard, where it's grown organically and biodynamically.  In the Rhone Valley and Southern France, Syrah and Mourvedre make some of the most profound wines on the planet.  On Naches Heights, the long growing season with cool nights allows both the Syrah and Mourvedre to fully mature, but without losing their backbone of acidity.  The result is a dark and rich wine that pairs well with hearty cuisine and will age for at least ten years.
